From the howl of coyote mint to the love story of the acorn,* the nutritious bounty on this land is outstandingly beautiful, isn’t it? Every time the plane descends from a journey away, it still draws the awestruck; surely this is where gods come to play.
We are honored to offer programming on Indigenous People’s Day as we travel by bus to a planetarium which tells the tale of Ohlone skies while afterwards sampling Native sweets and tea from ‘ammatka Cafe. A storyteller will regale us with stories of Miwok Creation and art projecting and nature frolic will await us back at Gill Tract Farm.
